3D Printing

3D model building and prototyping

3D printing consists of building up a model in several hundred layers allowing each layer to cure as it builds. The resulting object, made from ABS plastic can then be used as is, or to create moulds. Our 3D printer makes use of a specialised support material which allows objects to be printed with intergrated moving parts or to be created hollow ie: no structural supports are required in the design. 3D printing has revolutionised the world of prototyping.
